Plant of the Week: Tulip

Of all the spring bulbs, the tulip wears the crown. This is the queen of colour, with an unsurpassed elegance and beauty: plant them in swathes of the same variety for maximum impact, or blend colours together to create painterly combinations from gentle pastels to vibrant purples, oranges and pinks.

Choose tulips to flower at different times to extend the season and you can enjoy them from early April to late May. We have a good range still in stock right now here at the garden centre: pop in this week and indulge yourself with your favourite varieties to bring a blaze of sumptuous colour next spring.
